Just wanted to say that I too use my crane to carry my chain harrow. Sections of chain-link harrow are heavy, but it's a breeze when you use a crane.

OK, here's an off the wall one. It works great for pulling kids on a sled or tube in the snow! You can really whip them around and they have a blast. Yes, you have to be careful.

Since I have a New Holland "Boomer", I have to have a boom pole, right?

I haven't done it yet, but I plan on using mine to pull engines. Also, the long reach as stated earlier is handy. I've used it to move things around and it will reach farther out than a front end loader.

Start by makin one of those fling harnesses, like the one superman wears in those movies. Then come Christmas time, try and convince your better half (hot spiced wine works good) that this is the best way to install those lights on that 20' blue spruce in the front yard. Just kidding
