Bought a New L3902, turned out to be a 2019

First thing is contact Kubota where it was made or delivered to, then go from there, I am guessing there is some not so good things going on here, And like some have said ask what it is worth now will tell you what it is worth and could be not worth what you paid for it, Especially if you decided to trade it on another one ! Check it out good before you go to the dealer then if you find out he thought he pulled one off on you Go for a brand new one from him delivered to you ASAP

I bought a new L3902 in June of '23 paid full price for it. Recently while researching parts I realized the serial number indicates it's a 2019. When I got it the seat was a bit rough looking not torn or anything just weathered as we're the oil fill caps faded as well as the trans dip stick. Having just moved to Tennessee I though that it must be been a rough winter and previous summer thinking it was probably delivered the summer of 22 to the dealership. But not wanting to complain I just turned a blind eye. Well now with this revelation I feel a bit taken. I get that they are not like cars and I would've been fine with a '22 but 4 years old seems a bit much especially when I was expecting a new tractor. I want to call them and give them an earful but I don't want to but bridges either. Thoughts?
The dates could possibly change your warranty?

What does your receipt say, 2019 or 2023 model? If it's a 2023 model you didn't get what you paid for and there is a problem. Contact the dealer and call them out on it and see what they have to say and will do to make it right. Think about what you might want and stick to your guns. If they hassel you in any way get an attorney who can write a letter or two for you. You don't have to sue or take them to court over it but having a 3rd person involved will often make things go a lot smoother and help build a stronger paper trail if you should need it. However, if your receipt indicates a 2019 model, there isn't much you can do. You got an aged left over model and paid full price which probably is not unusual these days although not right either.

There should be some noticeable differences between a 2019-2501 and 2023-2502 like head lights, floor mat and front grill guard if my memory is correct ?? Probably few others.

Wonder if they replaced his Tractor with a current production one with a NDA ?

I don’t know for sure if the information is correct but tractordata indicates the L3901 has a common rail injection system, but the 3902 has a direct injection system. If that information is correct then one should be able to determine which model it actually is.

I bought my L2501DT in early 2021. The knobs were faded, spots of rust, seat track very rusty and the 3pt hitch ball swivels were rusted tight. I figured it had set on a lot for a couple years to see that. I know most want hydro and I wanted a gear drive so I put some of it not being sold but I still figure it has to be something like a 2019 to have that much. The plus for me was It was available and I got a BH77 then too instead of waiting for some time. I ordered a landpride grapple and after 6 months of back ordering I cancelled and bought a virnig from Messicks . I got my tractor just as it was getting crazy and was thankful for that.

I can’t imagine a tractor sitting for a couple years in 2021 when you couldn’t find a tractor anywhere.

If that little bit of fading didn't bother you then, why does it bother you now? If the price didn't bother you then, why does it bother you now? The year on a tractor is not near important as the hours and model number. How many hours was showing on the hour meter? Only a couple? It was new? All you first time tractor owners shouting get a lawyer and call the dealer out have piss poor ideas. Did you buy this tractor to use or sit in the garage and trade in next year? All new tractor dealers go by model number and hours on trade in, NOT THE YEAR.

This is weird. They OP has not posted anything since Nov 23rd. I've had a dealer do a bait and switch on me, (not a tractor, but parts) so I'm curious as to what happened with this case.
