Bought a Yamaha Terrapro

Hey Kid, do you have a link to the photos you are posting? For some reason the attachments aren't pulling up on my end. Also, do you know where I can find an owners manual and a repair manual for the Terrapro?

Tried to view the attached pics but can't open them. Says that it's an invalid attachment. I'm using Windows vista and Firefox. Anyone else have this problem?

Kid, I have a Yamaha terrapro with the bush hog, rc42 and the belt just broke, do you have the measurements for a Kevlar belt?, (
The decals. I cut myself and may make another set. There is three layers of colored vinyl to create them. kelvar belt and take precise measurements of it. Belt pitch, width and exact outer length. There is a margin of error on the length probably an inch or less.) Also I no longer have the schematic for the belt installation, do you have a picture you can send?, john

The paint is nothing more than Rustoleum enamel that I custom mixed. I bought a quart of the closest color and added white till I got the shade desired. I also added a enamel hardener from TSC to speed paint drying time. Enamel takes forever to dry. If you add some hardener it changes dry to the touch in about three hours. It also adds a higher luster to the paint. You are right on the ocean blue. My next project is the RC42 then move to the TC38.

I'm currently got my second Terrapro stripped down. Found a bad rear emergency brake line and a mismatched brake drum. One wheel has the wrong rim. Speedometer cable was broke. This is the nastiest bike I've ever worked on. I took the PTO off and polished the housing. Waiting on parts right now. Guess I'll start refinishing the plastic till those parts come in.[/QUOTE]

If I get a chance I will photocopy a couple pages of of the owners manual that described the exact procedure on installing the belt in a RC42. I don't have the measurements of a belt but tension and proper installation is key to longevity of the belt. Kelvar type preferred but cheaper ones will last quite some time. The belt If I remember correctly is a bit tricky to install. Over tightening the belt is easy to do.
