Bought another Kubota!!

First, I'd like to thank all the knowledgeable folks here at TBN for all the fantastic archived posts, and responses to my inquires.

I finally bought the new tractor!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It's a 2005, L5030 hst, 853 loader, R4's, and HD bucket w/ ATI toothbar.

I also picked up a land pride 84" 35series blade, and same model rake with dual wheels.

Went to check it out @ the dealer today and I should have it by next week.

My house is almost complete and I needed help with the upcoming soon to be snow removal. (the little B7100 would have a tough time with the driveway) Not to mention all the projects such as: clean up from logging, and my new firewood endeavor.

I decided to keep my little friend (B7100 hst 4wd) for mowing chores and light stuff around the property. I've heard so much about how it's nice to have the flexibility of 2 tractors.

Now for the bad news, the wife went to the dealer a week or so ago with me and fell in love with the RTV!!! She thinks it would be perfect for running to the mailbox, dropping off the trash, cruising the property with the kids!! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

It's important to remember that the CFO or CEO (or both) in the family needs to kept happy. If that means an RTV god bless you go get one.

Remember the CFO and CEO of the family is the boss and if there are certain items she would like to have, it is always best to fulfill the wishes or else she could decide to liquidate some other assets (one or more of your tractors /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif) to attain the asset she wishes to have. I almost went through this a couple of months ago when the boss decides she wants a new Expedition. I tell her we can't afford it now and she enlightens me that she is the one handling the money and if we get rid of my tractor payment it shouldn't be a problem /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. Needless to say I bargained with her and she will probably get one next year.

Hey, it's just like paying taxes, three and a half years ago, wife gave me a new BX220 for my birthday and all it cost me was a $20,000 kitchen remodel job. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Congratulations on your new Kubota tractor purchase. Like you, I kept my old Kubota for mowing duties. I have been very satisfied with both.

Did you get the factory cab? Post pictures for all to see of both units.

Hey, cool. I bought a new L5030HSTC with pretty well the same options. I also picked up a new RTV; just had to have one of those. Then, I saw how cool the Yamaha Rhino was and how it differed and was much faster, so I bought a new one of those too! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Man! Do I have a big list of "honey do's" now to make up for all of those "toys"!
