Bought me a Kubota this morning

I finaly found a nice older B series close enough and in my price range. I won a nice B7100 on ebay, 4wd, gear drive, 3pt hitch and brand new ags on the back. Looks nice, a quick repaint and new decals and she will look good. I plan to swing the muffler upright so I need to get the extension pipe w/turnout from Kubota, I work at a dealer so no prob!, I think we can get the decals for it to. I will post pics once I get her home next weekend. Mike

I just did that, you read my mind! This pic is from the auction so I will get a better one once I get her home. Need to loose the funky front bumper and redneck hood ornament. Both of which the seller said were bolted on and easily removed. Cheers Mike

Ok, I fixed that to. The last red tractor, a loaded 582 cub cadet, is even for sale, she will use the small model 70 cub cadet, its perfect for mowing our yard, the Kubota is for chores, and I plan to get a tiller for it soon. Mike

Congrats on the purchase.

I bought my B7200 off ebay last summer.... great price and only had to drive 200 miles r/t to pick it up. The older B series are tough little machines.

I like the older B series, I work on the B and smaller primarly at the dealership. The new BX, while an awsome tractor, are very complicated when compared to an older B. While I do wish this one was an HST, the gear drives are simpler with less Hyd to go wrong. I have a B7100 just like mine in the shop for a failed U joint on the shaft to the front axle, Joint failed, then they kept running it and trashed the yoke. The darn Yoke/Ujoint assembly is on back order! Maybe I will get the parts for it this week, I know the owner and he would love to get her back. Cheers Mike

Congrats on your purchase.... I too purchased my B7100 HST with 400 hrs on Ebay late last summer. I only have one fault with mine and that is the grass that collects on the front grill, even with the fine screen cover over the radiator it still seems to fill the cooling fins with a fine dust and requires that you clean it often to prevent overheating. Can't wait to see pics...Super tuff tractor in my opinion.
