We all know that no matter what you build, someone somewhere will figure out a way to make it cheaper and undercut the price. Almost always by the sacrifice of quality. It's fashionable to blame third-world manufacturers for this, but the real blame lies with the companies specifying only price point, not build quality. The consumers are the ones who suffer, unless they are knowledgeable enough to evaluate the quality of the product.
Since I don't have the knowledge to evaluate the inner workings of some of these things, I rely on knowledgeable dealers like Tommy, Ronald, Chip and others to do the due diligence for me. So far I haven't had any unpleasant surprises.
