I am thinking it will work fine also. The linkage already transfers the force to the pin. Now the force will get transfered to the cylinder.

Will cut and weld the actual linkage tomorrow before sunrise when its not 100F heat index like this afternoon.

I think I see what you did there. Most of the force is on that cross bar and the pins/bolts to keep it in place?

When in use the scarifiers pull down as the scraper is pulled forward. So I did not consider a latch and have not needed one. I made it like this Cammond scraper.

Working great, now time for some new hoses.

I wasn't actually trying to move dirt in the video, just wanted to show it working, will try to get another video when my camera crew gets off the bus this afternoon

I rather have made the top bracket one piece but I don't quite have the proper tools so I used what I had and it should work fine. The upper cylinder mount is what was on the swather already, same with the lower but the lower was just right for this application.

My old old gannon has factory hydraulic rippers on it,
they actually rotate from raised to down and forward and there is no mechanical lock on them.
