I have a B2910 and was wanting to get a box blade for it. What size should I get. I have the B2910 with turf tires. I would like some input on which brand and what size would be the best for my trator. Thanks

I think you would be well-served with a 5' boxblade. I would not go too much larger. A 5' will cover your wheel tracks.

How durable a boxblade to get depends on what you expect from it.

For example, I use mine to grade my driveway, and a neighbor's. I also use it for light landscaping work and, with the rippers all the way down, use it to rough "till" my garden. I would consider my use to be fairly light duty. Accordingly, I bought a locally produced boxblade that is approximately equivelant to the light duty models sold at Tractor Supply. These models can be had for about $350.

Heavier-duty models can be quite a bit more expensive, but the concensus here seems to be that they are definitely worth it if you need that kind of capability.

If you look in your owners manual there should be a section where they detail all the major implements available and what size they recommend. I use a 5 footer on anL2500 and think you could probably use a 6 footer but maybe not with the turfs (I have ags). Too big is better than too small as you can always take a smaller bite if you start to spin. (Only an issue with the rippers down). As with most implements the heavier the better, I use an extra 250 lbs of steel weights on mine to help it bite better in hard dirt.

I have a Land Pride BB1560 for my 2910. I do not have any problems using it with turf tires. I do need to use FWD for the best results.

Try this post</font color=blue> "Boxblade price check and more..." under attachments.

I hope that works, I never did a link before.

I have a Woods HB60 on my B2910, but I really haven't had much chance to use it. Our ground is so hard that I figured I could use whatever extra weight I could. I have R4's on my tractor.
