Thanks for all the replies.
Width of my wheels is 47". So a 48" will cover tracks but barely.
I can get by with the 48" as it covers my wheels although I think I want the 54. I know weight is a double-edge sword as I need weight for the blade to work but too much weight will cause wheels to spin when box is full of dirt. I have it narrowed down to the EA HD which is 355 pounds and the Land Shark 2.1 (also Everythingattachments dot com) which is 289 pounds.
If I go 54", the weights are 370 for the HD and 315 for the Land Shark 2.1.
I think I like the heavier and leaning towards the 54" HD ...but will that extra weight (81 pounds heavier than the lightweight 48") be a good thing or a bad thing? Again, the double-edged sword. If anybody has a subcompact and a box blade, what is the weight of it and what is your experience?
Thank you.
