Scotty,
Here are some pictures of the BB and the project I am working on. The first pic shows the brand new WOODS HB-72. There are six scarifiers and the curved front blade behind the teeth. The sturdy three point attachment is on top of the unit.

The ground under the brush is of many different terrains. I intend to use the HB-72 to clear and smooth out the ground. Here is a sample of the ground.

Mornin Cotton,
Thanks for all those shots. That was great!

OK, cut to the chase, I called my closest Woods dealer yesterday, over in Granville, Ny and got some prices. Im thinking the standard duty Woods blade would work for me. I have one 5 acre field on the right side of my property that some farmer plowed many years ago and left it that way /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
The dealer originally quoted me a price of $750 but said he had that blade in stock and would sell it for $675. That blade weighs in at 555lbs. How does that price sound to you? This is the RB-72.

And by the way, keep the pictures coming /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Scotty,
I am a bit confused regarding your dealer's quote. The standard WOODS six ft Box Scraper model weigh in around 550 lbs is the GB-72. The GB-72 BB goes for $750 to $800 and $675 is a great price for that model. It is basically the same BB as the HB-72 without the floating gate. The RB-72 mentioned in your post is not a BB. It is WOODS 6' Rear Blade which weigh only a bit over 200lbs.

Mornin Cotton,
Well come monday morning I will give my dealer another call and hopefully clarify! I specifically said boxblade on the telephone. I have a 6ft grader blade allready, but maybe he misunderstood my question. Although I definitely think the price he quoted me was for a boxblade, because no way does the grader blade go for that amount of money. I will let you know, and thanks for the reply /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
