Has anyone put a Tilt meter on a boxscraper so they would be able to see what angle they were grading? I have even thought of using a large level that has a ball bearing in it that looks like a tilt meter but is used in the RV world. It doesn't have degrees but is about 8-10 long. It would allow somone to see it easily Any suggestions?

Putting a simple level indicator for left/right tilt I presume, and not for fore/aft? Correct?

I've thought about that myself, but just having a tilt meter all by itself on the tractor sure works well enough for me. I figure if the tractor is level, then the blade is level. Likewise, if the tractor has a 5 degree slope into the ditch, then that's enough, and I level the blade (with repect to the tractor).

Yes you are correct in regards to assuming I mean right/left on the boxscraper. Would it not be helpful if you wanted to level a piece of property(building site) so you knew you were level and it would be irregardless of what the tractor was? It would be extremely helpful if you had top and tilt.

I checked R & B's website. They also have a remote that looks nice but it's a bit pricey ($369).

It would be useful. I have T&T, and I find the single indicator on the tractor is "good enough" when I'm leveling/grading. I tend to feather the T&T as required as I do the road, I I reently enlarged a flat and found the single indicator on the tractor quite handy.
