I am a Cape Bretoner living in NewBrunswick. I watch the maritime weather and I seen you got a wack of snow. Seen some scary pictures of the snow but I know us Maritimers can handle it. Tomorrow I will be blowing a bit of snow with my L4740. Only going to get about 7 cm.

Sounds like your in for a good time in the seat. We got snow on the way for Friday and Monday but we're supposed to get high winds Friday :shocked:

Thank goodness Colorado hasn't latched onto that ridiculous money making scheme...yet. But our state does have something similar called the SMM stamp. Department of Revenue - Division of Motor Vehicles:SMM Program

You'll find a SMM stamp on just about anything with wheels at the rental yard, and the rental companies pass on that nuisance expense to the customer.

Wasn't any tractor **** this morning out pushing snow. It was -17C at one point. Pretty cold. Yep got o have a license plate on the tractors here and fully insured.

Well Paul, Thursday's temperature was -17 (wind chill brought it down to -26*C)....we are back up to 0* but falling again tonight.... but the real big news is that we are supposed to have some REAL snowstorms!!!!:thumbsup: If we get anything of consequence, I'll take pictures to prove it

I get the insurance coverage.... everyone should protect themselves, especially with the value of the equipment being as high as it is...... but at least tractors should be considered construction/ agricultural equipment.... a "slow moving" triangle should be enough for the road (with appropriate lights as well) without having the government looking to dip into our pockets.:thumbdown:

Man I hope you get your snow. We got major snow falls coming next week as well. I just completed the 100 hour service on the tractor and its fuelled up and ready to roll.
As for license plates. I even need plate and insurance for my small Toyota fork lift. I even need a plate on my motorcycle trailer.

Nice photo.... love the landscape!! I would have thought that New Foundland was more progressive than the province of Ontario, especially when laws are concerned.... but at least we allow agricultural/ construction equipment a bit of a break!!
