Bradco Question

   / Bradco Question #11
Mark,
I inderstand when you said it might be a little slow becuse of GPM flow. These in fact are not 580 K's with extenda-hoes. We don't want to abuse and overload our rigs yet have one up from the 3 point type. I've seen the Bradco on several makes and the key issue was the salesman involved admitted these were logical over the OEM model. Unless a couple of holes per year were all you were after.
What the L35 has, makes it a good choice if you don't plant seeds. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

   / Bradco Question #12
Mark, do you know if a 2710 would have enough hydralics to power a Bradco hoe. I have been wanting to get a hoe for my 2710 for about a year but am still researching and to be honest trying to find the money for one. I know that I want a subframe mount and I would really like to be able to plumb into the tractor for the hydralics. We have a 3 point trencher that has a pump that mounts on the pto and I just hate it. I don't mean to imply that all pto/pump setups are bad just the one I have and it has really put me off of those kind of deals. My dealer keeps trying to sell me a ARP hoe but it is a 3 point setup. Any opinions you might have will be appreciated.....glen

Glen B. - It depends on which Bradco you have in mind. I doubt it would handle the 609 too well, but it should do fine for the 509 or 409(?). Do you have any spec sheets on these models?

I will have to do some digging for some spread sheet info. I was just being lazy about this and seeing if you knew. I will do some checking and if all else fails, I will check with Bird for the spread sheet info. I bet he has it somewhere. Thanks

glen b, I don't have a backhoe and don't know what kind of flow any of the Bradcos require, but the manuals for the B2710 show total capacity of 9.5 gal./min. (6.4 for the 3-point and auxilliary hydraulics and 3.1 for the power steering) if that helps you.

I knew I could count on you Bird. Thanks......glen

You'll also need the specs for the flow requirements of the Bradco backhoe(s) you're considering.

Mark, I guess I am stuck on stupid today, but I got on the bradco web page and the only backhoes I can find anything about are for skid-steers. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place or something. Somedays I can make this computer do anything I want and then there are days like today. Do you have a website address or anything that might steer me in the right direction? glen
