Well, here is my F150.

However the photos don't show the pickup's history... so it is OK.

Power has been out since Saturday afternoon 1/13. Now is Tuesday 1/16. We still have lots of ice, but no estimate for power to be restored.

Unfortunately I'm in an orphan suburb with EWEB (Eugene, OR) power, and they seem to be prioritizing the city first, claiming the rural area is "too difficult".

Power lines I saw today didn't look bad except 2 spots.

Good luck, no power is royal pain in the butt.

That sucks. Our more rural areas usually are out 2-3 weeks after an ice storm. I service lots of generators out their way.

my house, most is 12-24 hours usually.

Most years power is only out a day or two. A big snow 5 years ago and it was out for a week.

But, the rural power companies are working hard to restore power, but the urban one with some rural customers has claimed it is too dangerous to take care of the rural customers.

The ice should melt tonight.

Rural areas are scary places for city boys.

I decided a few years ago to go whole house generator and have no regrets. IIRC less than $8000 installed.
Same.
Best money I spent in a while.

We've been lucky. I purchased a propane generator 3 yrs ago when I tired of fighting the old gas genny. I still have not yet started the new generator. I know I probably should...

Be careful out there, ice creates strange stress on branches when cutting.
Every time I was going outside earlier I was wearing a bicycle helmet. Comfortable, good strap, lightweight. And fits over a hat

Most the ice is melted. Still no power. No crunching of falling branches for some time.

Cutting out a neighbor tomorrow

Yikes. We have home delivery. They will fill any small tanks for the BBQ, Generator, and forklift that I leave out for them when they come... cheaper than store bought propane too (y)

Best I can tell, that is Forest Service Green and not John Deere Green.
