Are you speaking from personal experience on the Deere cited above?

No , but there are threads about the 3 point mounting points breaking off on recent models of john deere tractors and i wonder if warranty coverage (may be ) a concern... I probably was to hard on JD -I am (pretty) sure they would warranty it out

The point is that there can be problems with new tractors and it sounds like Kioti is repairing it post haste and at no charge.

Also the broken aluminum housing 3 point mounts - and therefore repair expense is not something that a Kioti owner will possibly have to look forward to AFTER the warranty Does expire...

when the OP said he wished he had bought a deere, i couldn't help but think of those aluminum rear end housings on the deeres on this thread Default Re: jd 4400 rear axle housing replacement HELP!!!
A thread on repairs. These housings are aluminum; a bad choice IMHO.

Got my tractor back. It was just the o-ring. Runs like a freaking champ now. It bush hogged like a boss. Anyone wanna buy an 8N? :)

It "appears" like a drastic teardown and you probably would not want to split the tractor yourself. But other than taking longer it would not be much more difficult than doing an oil change for the tractor mechanic with the correct tools to split the tractor. All tractor brands will eventually drip fluid anywhere that o-rings and seals are involved. Great that you got it addressed early and under warranty. Enjoy the Kioti!

This may be true for old-style tractors (like my neighbor's Massey Ferguson 135), but splitting a cab model is a lot of work from what I see in the service manuals.
