RickS, just curious as what do you mainly use yours for? I bought mine for a few reasons. Mulch jobs and debris removal in my business. I hope for snow this year so I can use it for plowing driveways for $. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Biggest reason was because my tax person said I had to spend the money. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

We purchased 4.5 acres of old farm land last month to eventually build a house on. It is just plowed field right now. I want to use the tractor to prepare it for planting grass, moving dirt/mulch/whatever the wife tells me to move /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif and to keep the grass mowed once it starts growing. Aside from that, I'll just do whatever I want. I'll no doubt help out some friends now and then with general stuff.

What is snow? It was 73 here yesterday and should be in the 70's for the next 5 or 6 days. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Good for me as I hate cold weather.

Yeah I hear Tx. stays pretty warm year round. Snow hear in the Carolina's is a hit or miss deal. You get a little one year and sometimes you get a bunch. Merry Christmas and enjoy the Holidays the season! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

What part of NC are you in? Just curious, I was born and raised in Henderson. Miss the BBQ and Hush Puppies.

Enjoy the 2305, it is a worthy machine.

JDFANATIC:
I see the issue with proper ballast. I had to drop the BB so I could drive into the stall and have manuevering room. There is a definite loss in traction without the BB in place. I wouldn't have thought it would be so much difference.

flwiii,

Glad you found this out without incuring any casualties. My comments weren't specifically aimed at the 2210/2305, but, were towards all modern day tractors. Because of the competitive nature of business today, every manufacturer is looking towards reducing cost (and in most circumstances, this means weight). Unless you are really sizing your tractor waaaay above the tasks demanded of it, you too will have this problem. Just remember, as altitude is your friend while exploring the sky, ballast is your friend as you work the ground under. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
