Ruff thank you, good catch. i went out and looked again to check for that, they are in alignment.

Good...at least you know that is not the problem. I could not imagine mowing with your cutter the way it shakes. I hope the dealer takes care of you!

This morning I dropped off the shaky one, and the dealer set up the other RCR1242 they had, he replaced and cut a new shaft too, tested the unit in front of me. I brought it home, this thing is nice and smooth! really stoked to get hoggin'!

That driveshaft looks bent to me.

i think if the shaft had been bent, the inner and outer halves would not slide smoothly onto each other. On the new smooth running one, the blades have the same 1/2" of vertical play in them, so that wasnt the problem on the old one. maybe it was the gear box or the disc

Good question. These electric PTO engagements are brutal. Even at an idle.

Yes it does ruff. Its abrupt engagement but it’s nothing like the first one. There is no bang or twisting of the entire deck like before. Just a thud. This one operates just as I would expect. Just waiting on bxpanded under armor to show up so I can venture out into the woods

I have the electric/hydraulic kind that you can gently engage, but I know I'd never want a machine with a straight 'on/off' engagement.
