sometimes with the female side if the o-ring dry-rotted its easy to get a piece still left in the grove when you install the new one... causing a very small leak
That part I'm pretty sure I got right... but I have another concern. As I understand it, the SAE#6 working ports should take Type 906 o-rings... but they looked wrong to me and not like the originals, understanding that the originals were awfully worn/crushed. So I used Metric Type 112 o-rings for a slightly better (but still not perfect IMHO) fit than the 906's.

My concern is that the male thread female couplings (now identified as Fasters brand) may require an altogether different o-ring. How do I figure out which o-ring that might be? I guess maybe I should now try calling Faster. :)

One key point:
I may have been dealing with two separate leaks here. The initial leak was not so bad... about like it is now. Then, a handful of hours tractor time later, the flood broke out. I lost 1-1/2 gallons of hydraulic fluid just getting the tractor back to its storage location.

It could be that I fixed the monster leak but the initial leak, whatever it was/is, may still be there.

All correct... and for the record, mine is the newest (i.e., last version that was manufactured) ML112 loader. :)

The first link doesn't work for me but I had done exactly as you described at that website several times. Unfortunately, the coupler in question comes up as unavailable when you try to order it.

What model is your 4110?

I assume you mean model year? 2004 :)

Mine is a 2005, the couplers will be identical. You may have to take it off and visit a local hydraulic shop to get one to match.

My brother-in-law was using my 4110 and punctured a hose. They couldn't make the hose because of the ends having a thread size they didn't carry. They took the two pieces and made a piece to repair the hose with, as the hose is a standard size.

No one locally has a male thread female coupling like Mahindra/KMW OEM (Faster brand couplers according to Jeremy), so I'd have to go with a conventional female thread female coupling plus an adapter piece the way the older ML112 loader hydraulics were set-up. According to some, there is a potential advantage (re: leakage/repairs) to doing it that way but I do like the last iteration OEM set-up if I can fix or duplicate it. :)

I noticed those couplers on the older versions were also a bit cheaper at $40 or so for both parts of the coupler. I like the way the valve works on mine, took a little getting used to it, as it was touchy, but once used tonit you can use a light touch and get some very fine movements out of the loader.

Yeah, I have no real complaints with the Prince LVT valve. Aside from the nuisance leakage issues at the valve-to-coupler interface, it has been reliable and easy to use. Time will tell where the remaining leakage is coming from. I think that replacing all four coupler internal o-rings may be the next step. :)

Im sure they offered it to you but you can buy the parts, hoses, and bracket to make it like the new set up and still be oem parts.... but its a lot of upfront cost for a small leak imo

seems as you got a pretty good handle on the situation

Well, again... I'd like to keep the simple (to me) set-up of having quick couplers that mount directly to the valve. If I can fix the set that's on there now so that it doesn't leak... great! :) If I can't fix the current leaking hardware, then I'll pursue other options including replacement in kind or going to more conventional female thread female couplers and I'll use some 45 degree adapters like the earlier set-ups had.

But for now, the issue is o-rings... both at the valve port and internal to the couplers. The remaining leak is at one or the other... or both. Looks like it will be Saturday before I can get back to work on this problem.
