That part I'm pretty sure I got right... but I have another concern. As I understand it, the SAE#6 working ports should take Type 906 o-rings... but they looked wrong to me and not like the originals, understanding that the originals were awfully worn/crushed. So I used Metric Type 112 o-rings for a slightly better (but still not perfect IMHO) fit than the 906's.sometimes with the female side if the o-ring dry-rotted its easy to get a piece still left in the grove when you install the new one... causing a very small leak
My concern is that the male thread female couplings (now identified as Fasters brand) may require an altogether different o-ring.
One key point: I may have been dealing with two separate leaks here. The initial leak was not so bad... about like it is now. Then, a handful of hours tractor time later, the flood broke out.
It could be that I fixed the monster leak but the initial leak, whatever it was/is, may still be there.
