So I turned the key and it sucked in but after a few seconds it popped out, so this is what's killing my engine... That's pretty much it, had to manually stop the motor pressing the pump rack...

So now the big question, could it be the solenoid or a fuse?

It will not be the fuse because it sucks in. Now you have to test the switch and relay to determine which is the problem. Or could be a broken wire.

Do you have a volt/ohm meter and a pin light? These will be necessary to trouble shoot more. Also if you have not done so, download the service manual from here.

I have both but the pin light bulb is out... Might have to wait till tomorrow

Can you briefly explain what I'll need to do even though I don't have the pin light working?

When you download the service manual, go
to the electrical section and find the procedure for ohming out the switch. If it test good on all points then you need to locate the relay.

The manual I believe tells you how to test it but you need to see if power is coming out once key is energized.

Again it is linked to the starter relay and will only pass power after the starter has been engaged.

Sometimes you can swap a relay to see if it works then. But you need the starter and stop relay powered to see if it works.

I'll do that right now... Let me also mention that the tractor keeps running when you keep the key turned (start position)... Once you let the key go to the "run" position, the tractor dies
sounds like ignition key switch.

Sorry haven't had time to test it out...

I want to buy a relay and swap it, I think it's simpler for me... I can just return it if it isn't the relay... So it's the starter relay right? Not the stop relay?

I would suspect the stop relay but check both. Again it could be a lose connection.

Swap the starter relay and stop relay, see if it follows the relay. Or it just might work fine now too..

Sorry for the late reply... Was finally able to get the relays (my local parts store didn't have the amps/volts needed)

So I swapped all of them just in case to no avail... What else could it be? It has a kill switch, u think it's that? I'm gonna replace it to a bigger amps one but thats a different story... Will post if the switch has any effect

If it is a 3 wire solenoid it likely has a start and a run winding.
One wire should get power when the key is turned to crank,
when the key is returned to the run position the other lead should get power.
I would expect the run coil to be controlled by the stop relay,
when the relay is energized by the tractor running it should de-energize with the key off
removing power to the solenoid.
Check all your fuses.
