Looking for reason power steering tank split. Could it be from return line pressure line being to high? Maybe just the molded plastic tank was made of wrong gread of plastic?

Welcome and I believe that Branson now offers a metal tank or heavier plastic tank to reduce or eliminate this problem. Check with your dealer on this.
