Ordered a part from Big Tex Branson dealer in Caddo Mills, Tx. Part was to be drop shipped to me. Following FedEx tracking, it got to the local distribution point, but never made it to the "Out for Delivery" stage. Had all the necessary paperwork and filed a complaint with FedEx. Reply came back, request denied, shipper has to submit complaint.

Went to Big Tex parts guy and explained that the part he ordered for me bla bla. Informed him of what "he" had to do. I didn't like having to get him involved as it wasn't his problem and he needs to spend his time making a living and surely red tape would delay the refund if it came at all.

I could look up the invoice date, but in no time he prepared the paper work, worked with the Rome Georgia Branson distribution center and today I got my refund. Apparently FedEx did the right thing and refunded the total cost, including the shipping charge, of my undelivered part.

Very impressed.

Now, whether or not this had anything to do with it, I doubt it as "I think" it changed hands when they moved from their old location on I 30 across the road to their new expanded facility. I bought my 2016 2400 and accessories from that original store and got a great deal on it and have had zero problems with the tractor and implements over the years. Really pleased at having them as my Branson dealer.

Glad it worked out for you! Sorry for the trouble though, that is very frustrating. Leon and his team are top notch and will do whatever is necessary to make things right! I just wish there were more dealers like them across the nation to help our friends here on TBN!

All i can say is we try our best for all of our customers no matter the problem, if there is an answer to your problem we will find it, and if we cant we know who to call to get it.

haha sorry slim, boss aint much of a fan of cold weather, and while we do have plans in the future to expand to other locations i believe he means here in texas lol, although i wouldn't mind as i prefer colder temperatures to be honest.

I can't blame your boss for not wanting to live in cold weather. It does take a "special" kind of crazy to like it here.

Wow, Panhandle Tractor.... I thought they went out of business.... I spoke to a sales guy there, told him what I was looking for (new tractor), and explained that I would be buying one in the next three days.... he said he would call me back that afternoon with a package price. No call back. I tried two more times the next day to get a price.... I'm still waiting.... that was three years ago. I have purchased 2 tractors in the meantime.....

I hate to hear that! Buster Jenkins is a wonderful guy! He is also over the Branson Assembly plant there in Plainview. When I was looking at Branson, I was traveling through West Texas and decided to stop by and look. Buster could not have been any more helpful. He took me in his personal truck to tour the assembly plant and that is where I saw the 4815C for the first time.

I offered to buy from him right then but he encouraged me to buy from BigTex because of my location. I am very thankful he did that but he spent probably 2 hours with me and did not get the sale. I enjoy talking to him so I make it a point to stop by when traveling out that way.

If you have tractor problems you can't solve, Buster (Jenkins) is well versed and eager to help. When I bought the 6530, I had AC idler problems. Gave Buster a call and he notified the Branson traveling trouble shooter. Not long after that the guy sends me a redesigned (beefed up) idler pulley, bracket, and V belt, free of charge with his compliments. Fixed the problem. Been 13 years and zero problems with the redesign.

Are you still contemplating a Branson purchase? Just wondering since your corral shows no Branson affiliation and you are over here posting on the Branson site, negative content no less.

Well, yes I was still looking at Branson, specifically the new 2515, up until a couple of weeks ago. I really don't bash any brand, especially Branson. They make some tough tractors. I have been looking at them for at least 4 years, almost bought one from Big Reds, but felt they were too far away at the time (now it wouldn't have mattered).

That's why I was in this thread / forum to begin with.... I still want to stay up on "the latest and greatest" about Branson. I solely expressed my opinion on a specific dealer that did not do me right when I was ready to purchase "immediately". I just had a bad taste in my mouth and had to rant. I am glad to read the positive comments about this particular dealer. It has probably put them back in contention when I start shopping again.

I looked at Branson two years ago. Did not buy mostly due to closest dealer at the time. I still think it would have been a good call. Now I still watch this thread due to that and the fact that my LS dealer that I got my tractor from is now selling Branson also. Both are good tractors and with equal dealer support, it would be hard to pick the best one.
