Branson warranty troubles

Nice HD grapple. I do not know if this is the owner of the machine or someone who borrowed it, but I would say that is abuse. I believe the shock loads of that use exceed the design. People's ideas of normal use vary considerably.

Notice that near the end, it appears the front axle quit working? Maybe it just started spinning on the other side, but that is the perfect example of how to abuse and break a front axle.

Yes, I understand they were testing the grapple and the operator was the owner. If said operator had an equipment failure, other than the grapple, it SHOULD be considered abuse. I love ETA videos and their equipment and I am glad they test the equipment they sell. I think the RF wheel was spinning during most of this operation.

IF you really want to test that grapple, get it off that little tractor, put it on a MFWD hundred horse "farm" tractor and move boulders and big logs with it, dig some holes and put the power to it!

That would be a much better/safer way to test it and be much more impressive...

When our 140 horse farm tractor arrives, you better believe we're gonna test attachments with it!
The grapple for it is ready and waiting.
Coming soon. .....

That video is disturbing because it's more than beyond normal use. The shock loads from bouncing can cause all sorts of unintended consequences. The tractor could break in half, the axles can break off, gears strip, etc. Someone actually could get killed.

We have a ripper for breaking up ground and use the bucket to pick/dig broken ground up.
We believe there is a major fault with our tractor and no permanent fix with warranty.
We appreciate there are experienced farm machinery operators out there but we aren't looking to work out the "why" but really more how to force a company to recall a model, how to force them to honour a warranty, if others have the same concerns. Thanks for asking though.
Something seems fishy here... breaking a part that doesn't typically break THREE TIMES in a short timeframe, not having pics, saying Branson is threatening to get THEIR lawyers involved .... And now trying to be an alleged advocate for other Branson owners, even though your alleged problem seems a rarity.

Something isn't adding up...

Thanks Dave for the info. We certainly didn't treat it bad, we had been quite careful with it while we had it.
We were just looking for people with major warranty issues.
We wanted to provide a voice for any others having the same difficulty.
Unfortunately, Branson is certainly not good about this warranty.
Branson USA office chose to threaten us with their lawyers while we've sought help from them with our warranty. In our books, that isn't a definition of "good about warranty".

What kind of threats from a lawyer? Must have that in writing.

Sounds like they warrantied it 2 times. I wonder if Branson said if they wouldn't warranty it the 3rd time? If they did say that then the owner made a choice to continue doing something the tractor wasn't capable of doing. I would be thinking about not creating the issue again and/or getting a bigger/different machine for that particular operation. I am curious about exactly what they were doing with the tractor and apparent unwillingness to share specific details of how its happening.

As far as EA is concerned, those guys are purposely testing their equipment and I would bet they take full responsibility for their actions. They seem like stand up guys.
