Did you put any landscape cloth (geofabric) under it to keep out weeds? Or don't you think that will be a problem?

Heed what DOCHERB said about using the right "brick". bricks from a chimmney are not suitable for a paving project, especially if you're anywhere that ever gets freezing weather. "Pavers" are designed/fired for pavement use and are denser. My brother did a walkway with regular brick and they were disintegrating within 2 years. Be a shame to go through all that work only to rip it up and do it right in a few years! (Of course maybe if you're in Florida you may be ok........

SHF,
No fabric. That’s one of the things with the sand, nothing grows. The whole yard is like fine beach sand. I do get a lot of ants though.

Paul,

I've got a lot of sand. Stuff still grows. Just not grass. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif
Lots of spindly weeds with great big roots, though.

Yup, I got that, but the brick, and the ants keep most of that at bay./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
