Broadcast Spreader

   / Broadcast Spreader #21
I have to agree with LOOGIE on this one, you can buy a cheap spreader, and spend alot of money on it, or you can check out the HERD spreaders, spend maybe a little more, but end up with a spreader that is adustable and does a nice even job of spreading. Cheaper spreaders will typically leave a nice green streak 8' to 10' wide (maybe smaller) when they should be covering 15' to 20'. With any spreader, you should double spread the area at 1/2 the rate going at different angles, gives you a more even coverage.
