Broke off a Hyd crimp connector - Can I cut it off and crimp on another???

Looks good David, did that cedar knock off the nut that holds your hose guard plate to the crossbar or did you take it off?

Right after I got my 2800 I was clearing brush in Oregon before I brought it home. The guy at the local auto parts store where I had to go to get a new belt after I stuck a branch into the 4 hour old belt reminded me it was a tractor and not a bulldozer!

GOOD EYES! I totally missed that. Looks like there is no damage to the threads, but YES it is missing in the initial picture. I will need to find me a nut to replace it...

DANGIT I needs a BULLDOZER now!

Yes, it amazing how the tractor turns into dozer and pushing 3 times what it was made for? Like the JD guy digging up the stump sideways and along the bottom. yikes?

IT WORKS!!!!!!

I reconnected everything, I strapped the hoses down with a couple big black tie wraps. I fired he tractor up and moved the grapple through its paces for a few minutes and parked it again. :thumbsup:

Thanks for all the great advice! The now "spare" hose is coiled in the shed with baggies over the ends to keep bugs out, and I am ready for the Stump Grinder to arrive tomorrow morning! :thumbsup:
