Not following. You here. Any thing you can install they can and they could add warning tags to the loop hose and valve handle to give Future operators a heads up

Yes, more evidence that its NOT a problem, UNLESS one allows it to be a problem. And, BTW, the hose loop can't be factory installed since it has to be added when nothing else is in the circuit. Kioti could choose to supply a short loop with every tractor, but at some point the tractor owner needs to be aware how to operate their tractor safely and understand how the controls, and functions operate.
I'll give the argument the benefit of the doubt in saying that Kioti ought to mention something about not deadheading the pump, in the owner's manual, shop manual, on a label near the rear remotes, on a sticker by the detented lever, and in a personally addressed letter from the company president in South Korea. Well maybe the last one could skate- for now...

I'm having a hard time figuring out why this is such a big deal, it's getting to the point I almost what to unsubscribe from my own thread!

Who cares if there's no warning, there's a bunch of stuff you should or shouldn't do with a tractor that doesn't come with a warning. Consider the last 50 posts a warning! Everybody here is a big boy (or girl), we all (now) know the issue and can decide how we want to deal with it. Kioti is a horrible company for not warning us all of this. There, does that cover all the bases?

The original topic of conversation for this thread is now done, and that's fine with me, it was a great thread and I really enjoyed it, for obvious reasons. I have no problem you having as many conversations as you like, but if it's going to drag on for a week and 50+ posts, start a new thread! I'll likely read these other thread and decide if I want to take part in the conversation, but since I'm obviously signed up for this one, you're forcing me to at least read about something that I can't figure out why there's a controversy.

A+++ statement. agree 100%.
its really a simple solution. not some major design flaw meant to destroy a tractor. I personally like the detente function and use it for my log splitter during the summer months.

I feel the same... almost a 1000 hours and no issues with accidentally knocking the lever in place. I use it to rotate my snow blower chute and run my BH. I think this has become an overblown concern...

OK, I couldn't stand the sight of a shinny new tractor for 1 more minute, so I finally decided to do something with it, just for the sake of getting a little dirt on it. My son and I pulled out to go get a scoop of dirt from my pile of topsoil to fill in a few holes in the lawn when our first problem hit.

As we were moving across the lawn, we hit a bit of a bump and all of a sudden there was a thud and it felt like we ran something over. I stopped, dropped the bucket and got off to see what was going on. The scarifier tooth from the edge of the box blade had caught a lug. There was a little damage to the tire, but it didn't seem to be leaking fluid and the box blade was rammed into the back of the tractor. I was concerned about the 3pt arms since everything had moved as much as it could to take the force and everything was cocked to the side. We jumped back on, slowly reversed a couple feet, dropped the box blade a little to get it further from the tractor and went back to inspect. There doesn't seem to be any real damage. I always traveled with the 3pt hitch in the full up position with the CK30 and it left lots of room. My sway bars were set properly but the DK just raises it so high, it come too close to the tractor.

Anyway, once we dealt with that, we went for our first scoop of dirt. OMG is this thing a BEAST!!!!! Yup, there's a difference...

I've noticed that it seems more critical to really watch the top link on the Kioti than my old tractor. I could be wrong, but between the way the lower links allow you to release them for hook-up and maybe even the length of the available adjustment on the top link, it does seem like it is possible for several of my implements ( BB, and the carry-all I built) to rub.

Thats why I think I want to add a hydraulic top link with as much adjustment as I can get. It would be easier to lift/drop the implement from the seat, then adjust as needed, instead of having to get off the tractor and hand-crank the top-link. The other concern is that the cross-handle on the top-link seems to rub against the hoses that go up front for my grapple regardless of where I leave the handle.
