Glad you got it fixed, and for free to boot!

I think you'll like using the backhoe loader a lot better than your tractor. Money well spent!

Nice to hear Kitoti will take care of it, not sure it would enter into the pitcher but originally the 2610 was not offered with the KL4030, I know supposedly the set up was the exact same on the 3510 & 4010 and most likely they looked at the HP as a factor for not originally using the 4030 - but it is interesting as I too have moved a lot of stone / top soil with mine with absolutely no signs of wear - When looking at the 2610 I was told the original loader with the 2610 was giving them issues so they went with the "heavier" one - I'm assuming engine placement / angle of arms would be close if not exactly the same on all the CK's - but your story will make me look a little closer at them next time at the dealership....

Thinking about this with the OP latest updates.

Even if he was absolutely bashing the loader into solid rock, there are much weaker points that should have failed. This mount (from memory) is 1/2" steel, the holes (while overkill for the hydraulic qd mount) are spaced plenty from the edge.

I wonder if when some of these plates were cut if they came in from the edge with the laser, and then welded the kerf back up? This would create a weak point that would zipper right open.

I bet they were cut with a water jet, not a CNC plasma cutter. Water jet cutting versus a laser to cause localized heat changes in the crystalline structure of the metal. I have my parts for the shop water jetted usually because the parts in their final assembly are stressed members. Only non stressed parts are CNC plasma and I own the table. Laser cutting is way to expensive for production applications.

I have thought about how this might have happened. The other day I remembered using farm tractors with loaders & when driving into a dirt or manure pile, sometimes the front wheels would come off the ground if the rear wheels had good traction.
Could this be how this happened?

Re: Broken Loader Mount; KL4030 & CK2610H

I looked carefully at difference in fabrication and design between the KL4020 and KL4030 loaders. All pivot points and load bearing points on the KL4020 just appear more strongly made. It certainly appears to be a more rugged and durable design.

Broke last night moving loose dirt? Ya…I don’t think so! It broke a long time ago, judging by the rust in the split. Probably when you were working hard on another project… However not good, nonetheless.

Exact same thing happened to me last night... moving some loose dirt. I don't care what anyone says
