Tree branches over a road, or leaners towards it, is an accident waiting to happen and we cut them. Trimming them back in October is fun and safe. Over the course of winter, its then horribly hard and dangerous.

I have four piles of cut limbs along the driveway. Haul all the limbs to one of these piles. Every five years - or so - go down the driveway with the Wally chipper and clear the piles.

Blow the chips back onto the driveway. Makes a great top coat for the driveway.

I'm pretty sure they (wives) do the same. I'm also pretty sure that they use some of the same techniques we do when we claim the new item up in the shed has been there for years. I know there are some new things inside the house that are claimed to have "been there for years".
