I found a great looking attachment for brush clearing today on a 145hp tractor. Only label was 'brush brute'.

Imagine taking off your bucket and replacing it with something like a pallet fork assembly. However, the forks are replaced by a welded aggressive toothbar with kind of a sharktooth shape to them. The 'V' between the teeth will grab small trees and brush. The teeth are parallel to the ground and spaced all the way across the leading edge.

The idea is to slide the teeth along the surface and snag small trees and brush with these 'shark teeth' . Sliding the teeth backwards on the ground will clear them. A tougher rootball would benefit from curling the 'pallet fork assy'

I am curious where to find this and if there is a version for a 34hp Kubota with a woods skid steer type quick connect.

Then again, there is always the plasma cutter and scrap cutting edges from the town road grader... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

A couple of years back, someone posted pics of a similar thing they had made for a compact tractor. They made it to fit the 3 pt hitch, due to the better lift capacity. I think they called it a "tree getter". Perhaps someone here remembers the link or a search term.

If you can't find it, drop me a note and I'll dig up the pictures I saved on my old computer.

I built & use one on an L4610. I like it a lot. If you have 4 wheel drive & HST transmission, I think you would like it on the front. I also built one for the back but normally only use the one on the front.

Here is a link to a thread showing it.

Yes you did, and not a week goes by that I don't start making plans to build one like yours for myself. I just keep getting distracted by other tasks, and haven't gotten around to it. I've even been talking about it to my tractor dealer who is a pretty good welder/fabricator and he may help me build one. I thank you again for having shared that with us all.
