I have a 5' Competitor, and its manual is here: http://www.modernusa.com/pdfs/competitorrr_cutter.pdf. I think the gearbox uses 90w gear oil. The shaft, tail wheel, etc. use a good grade of grease.

I did find Modern Manufacturing and sent a note to them. I also am having a problem trying to get the cover to stay on the shaft after releasing to grease it.
