For me, on my RTV I not only spread fert. ; but grass seed, food plots, lime, and pretty much anything dry using one of these. They also attach to a pickup tailgate or on the utility box of my B76:
On Time Wildlife Feeders
I have an electrical panel on the RTV that is directly overhead for various accessories ie: lights, spreader, etc. For the spreader I hang it on my tailgate, the wiring is there at the back corner, and the switch is directly over my head.
The outfit above is the manufacturer and are really good folks. One could say that there is a lifetime warranty. In 10 years they have replaced the motor and some other parts, 3 times with no questions asked................
Someone above mentioned making sure you wash out the device really well after fertilizing........Yes, that stuff truly eats up motors, but even worse is what it does to your tractor/machinery......Anyway, has worked very well for me on my several, small 2 acre, in the woods, or even road right-of-ways. ....God bless.........Dennis
