Bucket \"curl\" problem...

Last weekend after doing two solid days of dirt diggin' and moving, I suddenly have very little power in the bucket curling on my CK30. Dump, "power dump" and all other actions seem to be fine. Since I don't have a shop manual yet, can someone tell me what the PSI should be and at what RPM? I took it by the dealer for a look-see and he believes it maybe the packing leaking in the bucket rams......parts on order! (I think it's in the loader control valve) In the mean time, I have a friend who's a heavy equipment mechanic who'll check it out but needs to know PSI@RPM and if the pressure is too low, where and how do I adjust this?

Re: Bucket \"curl\" problem...

If the packing is leaking do you think it would leak down if you put a load of dirt in the air and just left it idel there. I would think fluid would pass through the packing to the lower pressure side and the bucket would slowly dump. Take a look for kinked lines coming out of the loader valve below deck. The lines are in harms way and can be smashed by the right stick from below.

I don't know the pressures for sure but the Kioti website lists it as 2000 psi controlled at the loader control. That should be at full PTO RPM for the testing.
