bucket fast dump

Tim I have a 6500 4WD with the same loader. The fast dump on my loader does not make any sound. I have called my dealer on any problems and had them fixed by dealer.Having said this I would not change fluid myself. THIS TRACTOR IS UNDER WARRANTY. I bought a new tractor so problems would NOT be MY problem.

Mad that explanation helped out a lot. Thanks for reposting that! I'll have to try it out again to see if it is as bad as I am making it sound. It was at idle so maybe it just needed a little more throttle. I will for sure turn in any problem I have. It does work like it should, and the bucket moves much faster. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overtaxing anything.

since reading this i tried mine and it works fine, no noise. i didnt even know i had it, i kinda had to pop it a little to go to the fast dump.

Tried mine out last nite, works fine, no noise.
I think I read about it in manual but never tried it.
The detent is a little stiff to push in.

I did not know what a fast dump was much less if I even had this feature. Turns out I do and it works quite well. It does not make any unusual noise.

Finally stopped raining long enough last weekend to get out with the tractor! I think there may have been air in the lines before because now the sound is gone. Fast dump works fine. I probably only have 10 hours on the tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

used the fast dump a bunch this weekend. I heard the noise again. I think it has to do with if you have something heavy in the bucket and the fluid can't keep up with the drop of the bucket. It is kinda like a sucking sound. I don't think there is anything wrong, still works fine and no leaks. I'll check the resivoir to make sure it's at the right level.
