Bucket Level Indicator Adjustment for Grand L

According to the manual the la555 has the old Grand 40 style rod tube. The la805 has this style and comes with the SSQA standard. How they missed this I don't have a clue...

didn't realize that there was that difference ...... it seems like something simple and obvious, but from what I've seen in my own line of work it's usually the small, simple, obvious things that seem to get missed/overlooked the most as the focus usually falls more on the large expensive complex things and making sure they are absolutely right (especially when fixing them or getting them "wrong" will cost a company a lot of money).

You could cut it in half and weld in a couple strips of metal to lengthen the slot.

It's no doubt I can make it work somehow... But that doesn't tell me why it's not at the moment. If some have no issues, then something isnt hooked-up correctly on mine.

I'm wondering if the mating orange indicator was welded in the wrong place.

Agreed, I'm gonna continue to look at photos and see what I can make out. Dealer is out of the question for now due to coronaivirus... Another thing I noticed was if you tilt the bucket back towards the operator the plate actually touches the loader arm not enough to bind up but enough to move it a 1/8 inch.

I taped a wooden block to the indicator at one point for something. Don't remember if it was my SSQA plow or my pallet forks. But neither if those is square to the bucket level so the indicator is not the same for any of my impliments. I didnt leave it on that long & havent bothered putting it back on.

I really only use my level indicator for my bucket. I cant see the bucket edge, unlike the tips of my forks (barely, most of the time). The SSQA plow should really be level, but I find more issues adjusting it for ground contact. I really need to convert it from a fixed mount to a floating mount.

I’ve had level indicators on my last 6 tractors. Personally I’ve never used them

Easier for me to just watch bucket

Here is what mine looks like when the bucket is level. I have the 72 in flat back bucket. Let me know if you want me to measure anything. IMG_20200416_183736.jpg

Is it possible to get a photo from the side showing the linkages? I'm wondering if one is mounted incorrectly or possibly bent and I can't tell... thanks!!
