I just got a L6060 and have used the fel a lot in the 22 hours on it. Still getting use to the level indicator and find this interesting conversation. Need to check mine for have never noticed those plates on mine from the seat. However need to relook at mine for if memory and eye sight are correct there is a difference in one of the rods on mine and yours. The rear none painted rod on mine has a bend it sort of like an elbow. Best I can tell these pictures show a straight rod. Will verify asap. I am amazed how much the angle indicator rod is affected by lifting the bucket just a few inches. Also the amount of linkage necessary. My JD bucket set up is much simpler. The rod mounts directly to one of the pins in the bucket mounting. No linkage period.

What model loader is being looked at? Wonder if possible the linkage is different with the different model L loaders and maybe when assembling the tractors wrong rod is being used on it. A part number check would be easy way to check that. Haven worked in company who built a heavy machine and we did all the welding on of such parts, most likely they have some fixture to hold such pieces in place to be either tack or welded in place.

There is 2 types of rods. The one you have and reference to is like the one that came on the older 40 series and also on some various new loader configurations. For example on my tractor if I had the la555 loader it would have your style. However the la805 comes with updated style

All the images I shot were taken with the bucket level and sitting on the shop floor

Got it. Had not thought about the different L loader models being different.

Looking at the pics, aren't the very lowest links different between the two of you? Everything else looks the same.
