I wonder if something like this might work for you, especially for smaller limbs.
I suspect you might encounter problems orientating the blade on the limb with something attached to the bucket.
My (badly drawn - I'm no artist) rough sketch attached shows how I think I might approach such a project.
By having the sharpened hook on a pole you will have much more control as to where you place the cutting edge on the limb. It will also allow you better control to manoeuvre around branches that might be in the way of reaching the desired point on the limb you want to cut.
You can remain seated while positioning the hook.
Once you have the hook in place, back up the tractor and the limb will be cut.
All you need is a suitable place to anchor the end of the chain and a neat bracket to hold the pole when not in use. If the limbs are in the way of your mowing, I would assume they wouldn't be high, so the pole doesn't need to be long and can be easily stowed.
