I want to fabricate removable bucket wings to allow me to move more snow, like snow pushers but on a budget. Bolt on in the winter, take off in the spring. How should I make mine? Any tips? Pics?

Here's the inventor. Snag some photos from the video.

They don't look hard to build. Certainly easier than the $450 basic price.

May want to paint the wing color that will stand out.

Very true, I like your suggestion! I may splurge on yellow powder coat and add whips. Maybe battery powered LEDs?

Would not say he is the "inventor", when looking at Google Images site for snow skid shoes for my FEL blade, it seems there are quite a few companies already producing "wings"...

I grabbed the pieces from my local metal supplier & had a fab shop put bends on the main plate. Fabricated it all in one day in a hurry so I could put it to use before the snowstorm last Thursday. Boy, it is definitely a useful addition & made quick work!!!

For now, it’s unpainted and still have minor trimming to do. I only have snapshots from a video that my son took but will add more later. I think I’ll paint it in black because of the stark contrast to the white snow.
