Just bought a used JD 110 tlb, what a tractor! However it came with a 12 inch bucket and I am having a hard time locating any 110 buckets? What is up with that? I would like an 18 inch, I think. My clay soil just sticks in the 12 inch. Teeth are welded on also and not removable.

Do you have a pin-on or QA bucket? Buckets from a JD 27 mini-x will work on the 110. But, I can't say I've ever seen a pin-on for the JD 27 - all are QA. Auctions, rental yards, some older iron along the back fence at a dealer's - just gotta keep your eyes and ears open..

You mention the teeth are welded on, are you looking for one with a sand plate? If so just weld a 3/8" x 4" on the bucket side of the teeth.
Although I don't know how well.your clay soils will do with a sand plate. If you are wanting new teeth, there maybe after market teeth available that fit over the welded shanks.

DocDryden and steve d,

I have both buckets available, one 12" qa new and a slightly used and undamaged 18" pin on bucket available. I am looking for an 18" and 24" qa buckets for my 110.

I have the same problem with my 12 inch bucket... packs solid.

95% of the time I use my 18" on my 110.

Also have a 24" that I have never tried... all are pin and not quick attach.

I used to have an 18" bucket. It was a great all-around bucket. But, it lacked a bit of capacity for some jobs that were easy digging and just moving material, etc. So, I looked at the 24" and decided it was too big and wouldn't be a good option for roots, stumps and rocky digging.

Went with a HD 20" bucket, finally.

I don't have the three point arms and wonder if it is something I should pickup?

Do most of you have the arms for your 110?

I have the 3ph with telescopic links and top n tilt for my 110 but rarely use it since buying the 4520. Nothing wrong with it if you need it, has the same lift capabilities as the 4x20 series tractors and is interchangeable with them. I would say if you need the capabilities of a 40hp hydro tractor it will work to your advantage. I wouldn't want to be without the 3ph for mine, sometimes I need several tractors on larger jobs.

Thanks for the reply... will have to check with my local Dealer to get pricing...

My thought is it might be harder to get since the model is no longer in production.

Not really, a hitch for a new 4x20 tractor fits it. When I ordered my 4520 back in 2009 I ordered two sets of telescopic hitch arms for around $330 per set easier to use when attaching something heavy like the Gannon boxblade. Might wan't to check with Brian (Fit Rite Hydraulics)about a topntilt kit and buy the telescopic arms from Deere Whole Goods.

Hey guys I'm in the market for some QA buckets, I just bought a machine with a 12" and 36" smooth, looking for an 18" and or 24". How does everyone like the 18" vs the 24"?

I like the 20" bucket for the 110, I find I use the 24" more on my 35D.
There's an 18" for sale on CL in Mass.
