I have a cheap little Earthway. too small. Can't afford a new two row, and i'm in an area where there just aren't any used tractor implements.
I figure seen most of the old ones have been jsut about completely rebuilt by their owners, anyway. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Thinking about building a two row planter. I know gears are a concern, but i'n thinking a couple of stacked pulleys from a drill press and a belt could be used. Maybe buy seed plates, or figure out what works.
Use it primarily for corn, beans, peas, sunflowers...
Anyone done it, seen it tried, or accomplished?
Thanks,
Larry
