Building a backyard Fire Pit

Here is our fire pit....one of our favorite places to hang out in the winter.

Spent a nice cool night out with the with the dogs and wife by the fire









This is my little Fawn Doby. There is way to much going on in hear little head. She likes to get out just to show me she can. Seems she can walk through any fence.



Now the beast is sneeking around in the dark





I love a good blaze



Seems the night always ends with just me and the dogs

It has been in the 40's here in Mid Michigan during the day and I love it. Great work out of doors weather, thank goodness for warm clothing. Guess my blood has thickened quite a bit since leaving California. Don't think I can work in the hot weather any more. 100 degrees and 90% humidity would kill me for sure.
Hope you have a nice holiday. Doesn't look like we will have a white Christmas this year.

Came to this thread earlier looking for fire-pit ideas. Here is my recently completed pit... looking forward to using it here in the next couple months up here in Michigan!
