Added the braces this afternoon. I'm really pleased how everything turned out. Its raining all day today, and the firewood is staying dry.

Does the rain blow in that you have your wood crates covered? Also what roof pitch did you use? My new garage is set up with a ledger board already installed for a future lean to also. Jon

The shed roof extends 2 feet past the wood cages, so it would have to really be blowing to get them too wet. The cages have tarps from being outside for the past 6 months.

The roof is about 1.5/12. I designed it 2/12, but when building it decided it was more important to fit the tractor under it than a 2/12 roof. I knew one day I would not be paying attention and hit the left side of the roof with the tractor's ROPS. Decided to raise the roof 4 inches.

Good thinking about adding the header during initial construction. We had to remove 1 1/2 courses of log siding to add the header.
