built a scoop bucket for my JD X475

( I made one similar for my Farmall Cub to be run off the front cultivator lift using the factory blad frame. The scoop was from a lawn tractor 3 point i built in high school. I wa and inch narrower than the front tires. I used it to fill in the area between the wall and the slab of my shop with crushed stone and a few other projects. It was a trip bucket design. I moved lot of waste from old dairy barns and sale barns with it. I made one for my cousins Mitsubishi and it gets used in his landscaping business for putting stone in flower beds and mulch in areas where his Deere cant go. Cant wait to see some more pics of your scoop. )

Hi taylortractornut. I will post the finished action shots as soon as it is done. I am just waiting on a replacement dump cylinder. Hopefully that will be in Friday. Sure was fun building this project. I just bought a new plasma cutter after I had already cut out the steel for the bucket. Should make the next ones much faster. I have several of these I am cutting up as a kit for people that want them.

I just bought a tracer torch/pattern burner for my partime welding and machine shop. Im making brush rakes for my backhoe and one where I work at. I added some bolt on teeth from a bushog loader on my cousins scoop. he excavated a nice 4 yards for a ladies goldfish pond. Take care Taylor Lambert

Hi Taylor....can you post some pics....I would like to see that. What is a tracer torch/pattern burner? I am not familiar with this. I just ordered a Miller Specturm 625 yesterday...

Bob the tracer i have is a made by Linde its got a control box with a rheostat and has a motor with a magnetic shaft. its got a long torch barrel with a gear rack and cvan be adjusted down to the work it has a double jointed arm the tracer and the torch sit on. the steady ness and the adjustable speed makes a smooth cut. I burned out a few toothbar teeth for a freinds backhoe. Well i say teeth it was the tooth shanks. From one 1 1/4 plate. The book says it can cut up to 10 inch thick plae if it has the right oxygen setup. I think williams lowbuck tools has a kit to make a smaller version for 400 I gave 400 for the Linde because of its size. I thought anout m,aking one with the williams kit but use linear bearings so it could cut from a 4x8 table on sheet steel.
