I've been wanting a good shooting bench at my deer lease, so I built this with a 2" x 6" x 14ga purlin, 2" x 14ga square tube, 1 1/2" square tube (used on the pull bars) and 2" x 1/8" flat bar I had lying around. I built it with skids so I can drag it to different shooting distances.

I can post some dimensions or more photo's if anyone needs them. If you tweak some dimensions, I think it could be made from a single 25' stick of purlin and a 20' 2" square tube, plus the flat bar. The flat bar is used to cap open ends and as a bottom "pad" under the top, where the seat support welds to the underside of the top.

Looks pretty nice, but I wouldn't want to have to sit on that steel in cold weather!! lol
