Built a shrub bucket

Carl,

I know it is an old farming trick, but have you tried running a hose overnight on the problem trees to soften the soil up?

Keep up those creative juices! This is a beauty.

All the best,

Peter

I know this thing looks mean, but it is the same dimensions as the plans here on TBN. I just added the front point...

So far not so good. My land is DRY right now. Like a frickin rock. I can get small trees, but the idea was to get bigger trees. May have to wait until Fall....

I almost bought the one for 339, but I needed to try and get up larger trees.... Still ike that one, though...

Yeah... Thought of that... Problem is we have a water issue on the property (a very old and shallow well for the moment) so I have no excess water for this project at this point.

it has a tendency to overheat

Have you considered adding an additional cooler? I think one mounted behind the seat with air flow directed toward the back above where the fire extinguisher is would help. You could fix it so that during the winter, you rotate it so air flow is toward the seat, free heater. Nice job on the bucket.
