Built myself a dumping flatbed trailer.

Thanks guys! No blade came with the cat, it was used as an ag tractor in its former life. I may try to find a blade for it but I’m mostly just planning on keeping it the way it is set up now, but I do want to add a PTO to it… I have visions of a small self loading log trailer to pull through the woods with it to do salvage and/or selective logging with it and would run the loader hydraulic pump off the tractor PTO but that’s a long ways off in the future…

My dad told me it looks flimsy so I got a personalized license plate that says FLIMSY and my wife and I refer to it as the flimsy trailer!

I just don't see how anyone could look at the framing of this trailer and the word "flimsy" come to mind. "Stout" is the first word I thought of when I saw the pictures. Nice trailer!

Haha, thanks Doug, it’s been a running gag for us since I built it…
I’ve been using it a lot lately, doing various chores… hauled 7 loads of gravel today for a flood berm… makes a great dump truck! Or logging truck… or machinery hauler… the list seems endless…

Nice looking trailer...you did a great job with that project. If it were me, I'd keep it wrapped so it wouldn't get scratched...but that's me.

Something you might think about is adding a couple foldable legs on the back so when you're loading/unloading something heavy, the weight will be distributed to those legs instead of the axles.
