It always hurts losing a good dog. Time is the only thing that will make it better.
I got a shock when I saw the title to this thread. We had a Blinddog too, but he was a Dashshund. I never knew how old he was, he was already blind when someone put him inside our 5' dog fence. He quickly learned where everything was in the yard, deck and back porch, and he went full speed everywhere he went. If you left anything out of it's place, he would run into it. We had him for a few years, but he's been gone three years now. We had a new puppy dumped on us last week. We are trying to find her a home, but her and Mocha, our chocolate lab are already fast friends. So we may have another dog. If we keep her, I think her name will be Trouble.
