1*A lot of people around here put a culvert in their ditch running the width of their property and then fill it over with dirt and plant grass over it. This defeats the purpose of having the ditch in the first place...

My ditch should be like this not a 3 or 4 foot one that has eroded away into an irregular gully across my front yard from one side to the other.
