I've used a LITTLE heat from a hand held propane torch and a three pound sledge hammer with some success. That's after it sat for two days soaking in WD40.

All my neighbors, within tractor driving distance, own their own units so loaning out has never been a problem.

im kind of confused, do the round shaft gear boxes, that round shaft that comes out of the gear box like the pinion shaft of a car rear end, that the drive shaft yoke goes over, does that shaft a have clip on the end that keeps the drive shaft from coming off at the gear box when the bolt is removed? thanks rob
