I'm always amazed by my tractor- its power and size. I used it for the 8" we got a while back- mounted a straight 7' snowplow on the bucket- worked great. I have an arthritic hip and using the clutch is great exercise for it!

We have had some very unusually warm weather here in Eastern Kansas. That coupled with a fairly heavy and much needed rain 2 weeks ago have played spring thaw havoc with our roads. So I decided to do a little road maintenance. I have owned three previous small very much older gasoline tractors; two 1960 vintage Fords and one old 2 point McCormick/Farmall (cannot recall the model ). This little TC30 can pull a 6 foot blade through some **** soft clay muck better than any of them! I put it in low (Hydro-static) and put full tilt on the blade to pull gravel out of the low drainage sides of my 1/4 mile of maintained roadway and it pulled gravel and dug into that soft heavy clay and pulled without a wimper. I had to lift the blade slightly because if was pulling more than I wanted!! I actually ran through some standing water spots and it still just kept chugging along. I'm sold on Diesel 4WD power.:thumbsup: I will finish working the roads today when I get home at noon. It should be dry enough now to actually work it. Just wanted to share my happy seat time. weird weather. I', still putting out feed and weed and bug granuales, and can mow with shorts on and a ballcap.. ;(

I believe it will still be awhile before shorts will be called for here in Eastern Kansas. However, I heard the weather man on TV state that no snow is forecast through the end of January! Normally I have to buy a snow blower or something like that to have weather this nice Not complaining...just amazed :thumbsup:
