I have noticed several comments on the Bush Hog tires. I had the front tires go flat many times when side force was put on them. I went to a tire place and they suggested inner tubes. I did this and it has been two years and no flat tires since.
On the rear tires I noticed that the axles were getting hot. I tried some silicon lube and that worked for a short time. Then I removed the bolt and greased it. This works fine, but I am too lazy to do this often. I then notice a flat spot on the side on the platic part of the wheel. This looked like a good spot for a grease fitting. I drilled a hole into this to the center of the wheel. I then screwed a grease fitting in. I did not tap the hole first. But I had selected a drill bit that was a little smaller than the grease fitting. Now I can grease it very easily. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
